I love attending live gigs with great music and this month has delivered the goods. I visited my old uni to see some bands playing tribute to a few Nu Metal giants. It was interesting seeing how much the campus had changed, and the nostalgia hit hard when I caught up with my bestie who I have been friends with since first year uni over 20 years ago. The bands were great too. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">First there was <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100088565477422\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fallen\u00a0<\/a><\/u><\/b>who covered a bunch of popular Evanescence songs, including my favourite\u2014\u201cSweet Sacrifice.\u201d <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Systemofadont\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">System of a Don\u2019t<\/a><\/u><\/b> came on next and OMG\u2014they were amazing. So full of energy! \u201cAerials\u201d continues to be a fave song of mine and these guys played an exceptional rendition. Finally, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/meteoraofficialband\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meteora<\/a><\/u><\/b>\u2014an Australian Linkin Park Tribute\u2014took to the stage. I\u2019ll admit that I\u2019ve never been a huge fan of Linkin Park, but there was no denying this band\u2019s talent.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Now I\u2019m looking forward to seeing\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/katatonia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Katatonia<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/a><\/strong><\/span>play in February.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
