A little bit of sad news here. After an inner battle over the direction I want to take this story, I have come to the decision to quit this particular writing project. It got to a point where I didn’t like where things were going, and I lost all motivation to continue. I’m a little sad over this given the amount of time already invested, but sometimes writers need to recognise when their creations stop bringing them joy and dispense with them Marie Kondo style. This is one such scenario. I would prefer to focus my attention on the latest novel in the Winter’s Magic series along with wrapping up the 3rd and final season of The Dark Matter Between Our Hearts, which I will release episodically as of July 2025.
I apologise to anyone who became invested in this serial fiction. I’m happy to let you use your own imaginations to draw your own conclusions for this story.
