The weather is heating up down here in South Australia, which means it’s time to come out of hibernation and be social again. The birthday gauntlet started in September and will continue right up to a week before Christmas. I even attended a wedding recently, first one post pandemic. The excitement builds both on and off the page as I prepare to launch the second book in the Winter’s Magic series. If you enjoyed Winter’s Maiden 1, you’ll love this one. It delivers more action, more intrigue, and much more heat! Just be prepared for some emotional moments because I broke my own heart writing this novel. I’m surprised my keyboard survived after all the tears I shed on it.
About the Dedication
I’d like to take a moment to recognize an important person in my life. My dear mum, who lost her battle with Alzheimer’s earlier this year. Throughout my life, Mum wasn’t just a wonderful parent; she was my best friend. I dedicated Winter’s Maiden 1 to her because she really did bring magic into my world. She taught me much of what I know about spirituality and wiccan practices as well as mythology. Given the timing of the Winter’s Maiden 2 release, I felt it was only fitting to commemorate her life on the eternal page.
